Private Connected Birth Workshop

A private workshop for you and your birth support partner at our Dublin 8 studio or in your home (additional charges apply) at a time convenient for you.

Cost: €350 (may be partially or fully redeemable on some private insurance plans, please check with your provider)

A person is lying face down on an exercise ball, doing a stretching or physical therapy exercise, with a trainer supporting their hips. Another person observes in the background in a room with large potted plants and glass doors.
I feel like I’ve been doing a lot of reading / podcast listening in isolation the past few months, but what the workshop really did for us – aside from all the helpful educational info and practical exercises – was carve out a structured space and a language for us to start having these conversations and exchanges as a couple, which was totally invaluable. My partner was really fired up afterwards and I think feels much more informed and empowered about the whole process, and so do I. And all that aside, your studio space is just such a calming and welcoming place to spend time in.
— Course Attendee

This doula-led workshop gives you both the knowledge, tools and confidence to navigate labour and birth together with clarity, connection and calm.

It’s open to all pregnant people from 20 weeks, but attending later is absolutely fine too. We’ve had folks come at 40+5.

What we cover

  • How birth support partners can offer calm, confident support

  • Advocacy, informed consent and navigating medical conversations

  • What your body is already doing to prepare for labour and birth

  • Hormones and how to support them through environment and touch

  • Movement and breath practices to support each stage of labour

  • How your baby moves through the pelvis and what helps

  • Breathing techniques for different phases and situations

  • Staying connected and grounded if plans change

After the workshop

People often feel physically and mentally tired after this session.
We recommend keeping your evening plans light — there’s a lot to take in, and lots to chat about together afterwards.
